Course Information

This program is delivered face-to-face.  There are three (3) components to this program:

  • Theory training in the classroom
  • Practical training
  • Assessment of knowledge and skills.

Learning topics include:

  • Chain of Responsibility
  • Load shift and risks
  • Overloading
  • Loading and unloading safely
  • Manual lifting
  • Lifting and restraint equipment
  • Safe Working Limits (SWL) and Working Load Limits (WLL)
  • Regulations

Duration: 2 days

Outcome:
On successful completion of this program, students will receive via email a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit/s RIIHAN308F Load and unload plant
