This licensing course is for a light rigid vehicle greater than 4.5 tonnes but no greater than 8 tonnes GVM or seats more than 12 people (including driver). You are eligible for a light rigid licence after holding a car licence for a minimum of 12 months.

Course Outcome: On successful completion of your licensing program, your assessor will work with you to lodge your application for heavy vehicle endorsement via the Vic Roads partner portal.

Students must:
- hold a current Victorian car drivers licence
- have held an Australian car drivers licence for at least 12 months
- provide a secondary proof of identity
- have studied the Vic Roads Truck and Bus Handbook
To be eligible to test, students MUST first meet Vic Roads criteria. If criteria are NOT met students will not be able to undergo the on-road test and will continue to train for the duration of the course. Additional costs will apply if students book subsequent training and/or testing.
