Get trained for your Heavy Rigid Synchromesh (HR) licence at Foresite Training in Hallam or Laverton North.
This licensing course is for a vehicle 8 tonnes GVM and above, with 3 or more axles. You are eligible for a heavy rigid synchromesh (HR) licence after holding a car licence for a minimum of 24 months.
Foresite Training is a Vic Roads accredited provider of heavy vehicle licence courses.
This course is for people who want to obtain a Heavy Rigid truck licence in an automatic or synchromesh vehicle.

Course Outcome: On successful completion of your licensing program, your assessor will work with you to lodge your application for heavy vehicle endorsement via the VicRoads partner portal.

Students must:
- hold a current Victorian car drivers licence
- have held an Australian car drivers licence for at least 24 months
- provide secondary proof of identity
- have studied the Vic Roads Truck and Bus Handbook
To be eligible to test, students MUST first meet VicRoads criteria. If criteria are NOT met students will not be able to undergo the on-road test and will continue to train for the duration of the course. Additional costs will apply if students book subsequent training and/or testing.
